My Favourite Scent

I love hearing about what perfume people wear, I think it says a lot about the person. Girly and floral, strong and woody or musky, I always think it reflects the personality of a person.

Alien1

My go-to scent is Alien by Thierry Mugler. It’s a very strong scent, so it’s not for the light-hearted, and it’s incredibly popular, with people often asking me if I’m wearing it when I am, but I think it smells SO good.

For those who are interested in the technical side of it, the ‘fragrance notes’ (according to the website) are Sambac jasmine, Cashmeran wood and white amber, teamed together they smell incredible.

Alien2

This perfume is available in both refillable and non-refillable versions. I always buy the refillable 60ml as although it’s more expensive for the first bottle, you save money in the long run as the refillable replacements are cheaper. The above is the 30ml, and I’m not sure if these come in refillable versions unfortunately.

Alien3

The bottle is purple glass with gold plated fixtures, I’m not a massive fan of how it looks, as I think the gold looks quite cheap, especially as it starts to peel after it’s been knocking around for a couple of months. I also find, due to the fact there is no cap on the lid of the perfume, dust and handbag crap finds its way into the spray opening and blocks it fairly regularly.

If you haven’t smell this perfume, and you like your choice of scent to be a strong one, I would highly recommend going to have a test of this bad boy. Bear in mind though, perfumes always smell different on different people, they’re affected by the natural scent of an individual’s body, so what might smell amazing to me, might not to you.

If you do go and try this, let me know what you think!
