These Are A Few Of My Favourite Things…
I’ve been channeling my inner Julie Andrews at the moment and thinking about all the little things that make me happy at the moment. Do you ever look at something and think, I need you in my life at the moment? Not people obviously, more materialistic goods? This is what I’ve been doing recently, so I thought I’d share some of my current favourites in my life.
Primark PS Pro Brushes
Have you tried these babies yet? I bought some on a whim to see if they make blending contour easier and honestly, they are a dream. I would say they’re well worth the investment, but they only cost about £4 each, so it’s not really much to invest.
Sweet Potato Toast
Top it with sweet or top it with savoury, either way, sweet potato toast is a dish you need to get involved with. I’ll be sharing my favourite toppings shortly.
I spoke about my new Nike Indy Sports Bra here, but I’m going to talk about it again as I really do love it. It makes me look like I have boobs when they are practically non-existent and they give me full support when working out. Win-win in my eyes.
Make up looks, fitness tips, recipes, house inspiration – you name it, Pinterest has it in abundance. I can spend hours searching and pinning things that I know I’ll probably never look at again, but it’s fun at the time.
I know it’s processed sugar, but if I need a quick sugar-hit or I fancy something sweet but don’t want to stuff my face, I let myself have two teaspoons of this stuff and it is heavenly. Judge me all you want, it’s tasty.
This doesn’t sound right, but I love a mix of hot and cold ingredients with my salads. I’ve been loved hot chicken and bacon salads recently. I’m going to start trying more buddha bowls soon as some of they always look so incredible.
I went back to using Aussie shampoo recently and I could feel, after the first wash, that my hair was incredibly dry after applying the shampoo. As my hair is dyed blonde, I’d rather use a sulfate-free shampoo, so I started using The Body Shop Banana Shampoo and Conditioner. I’ve used it a couple of times now and it’s pretty decent!
I’ve been doing this plan for just over two weeks now and, although it’s a killer at times, I have been loving it. It’s a 12 week plan, but I’m thinking of doing a four week, eight week and twelve week update – what do you guys think?
Another potential one that people might judge me on, but my friend was wearing this perfume at Christmas and it smelt so good on her I had to rush out and buy it. It’s the perfect scent for every day wear and at a fraction of the cost (100ml for £18!) of some of the designer scents. Well worth nipping down to your local perfume counter for a spritz.
I mentioned before Christmas how much I loved the Lavender and Rose Gold Fitbit Charge 2, and I’ve now been using it for just over a month and I’m still as in love with it now as I was when I opened it on Christmas day. I love being able to see my HR when I work out, as well as calories burned and steps taken.
As soon as I saw the email from CT announcing the launch of the Pillow Talk lippy I had to grab it and I’m SO glad I did. It’s the exact match of the lip cheat liner, which I use with almost every colour, and it’s my new favourite. It’s meant to be Limited Edition, so I’m not sure how long it’ll be around for. Make sure to grab it if you like the look of it, just in case.
And that’s all for now! I’m sure there are plenty of others but these are what I can think of at the moment. What are your current favourite things?
